Jeanne Gang

Jeanne Gang is an American architect and the founder and leader of Studio Gang, an architecture and urban design practice with offices in Chicago, New York, and San Francisco. Gang was first widely recognized for the Aqua Tower, the tallest woman-designed building in the world.
She is known for her innovative responses to issues of environmental and ecological sustainability. She employed sustainable design techniques—such as the use of recycled materials—to conserve resources, decrease urban sprawl, and increase biodiversity.
