Blossom Design+Build Workshop

For this workshop, our team collaborated with the Frontier School Division’s Engaged Learners Program to design and construct a warming hut with a group of Indigenous High School students. Using our design/build process, students were allowed to reflect, discover, and express themselves creatively.
In the process, they began to work together and combine both new and traditional perspectives with innovative ways of making to share the stories that matter to them. What resulted was a culmination of ideas, all developed and determined by the students themselves.
