For this workshop, our team flew to Norway House Cree Nation was able to work with students at the Helen Betty Osborne Ininiw Education Resource Centre. For 10 days, our team’s primary focus was to simply expose students to the infinite possibilities that are unlocked through the creative design process. Students were able to take charge of their own projects, exploring topics that fascinated them. Some of these projects included greenhouses, libraries, restaurants, and arcades. Each student approached the design process in their own way and each project was entirely unique. Students were able to immerse themselves in their ideas in a completely new way through the use of 3D modelling, 3D printing and Virtual Reality.
